I've got the Reds today.
whiskeyandgoatsmilk:
Which is kind of like the Blues but worse because instead of being down and out youre pissed and frustrated.
When you have the Blues you want to just kind of sit in the shower, listen to Bill Withers “Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone” on repeat till it passes the next day. Or you get sad drunk alone in your room and eat a tub of ice cream
When you have the Reds you want...

For Lent, I’m giving up rice. That’s right. RICE.
Wow, I don’t think I could ever do that ever. Props.

i find photos of people looking down very inspiring and aesthetically pleasing. what do you think tumble-land?
Won’t this cause a rift with people looking up? As they would not have a tumblog of their own, possibly leading to more dispair in this world. Enough to cause many of the upward looking people to turn their respective neck angles downward. Leading to the...

But those are isolated incidents, ones that happen once or twice every year. The only recurring problem I have had in this town are with its police force. Almost every time I go to shoot, I get held up by police officers wondering why I’m taking photos. They ask to search through my camera, or to delete photographs of buildings or people. Once, I was cuffed and frisked on Charles...
I love the Germans.
All of the Germans I have met have been amazing. Ich liebe Deutschland!!!
I got over it.
Here we go
A heavy heart and many sighs…. the feeling has returned and my eyes are welling up. I don’t like it. Help me.
Wow
If you ever want to feel how it is to be passionate about god, attend a Baptist mass. That was the epitome of passion, I gotta say. It was FUN and it’s always amazing to go to something you normally wouldn’t go to. My purpose was to cover a story about Super Sunday, a program taking the grassroots approach to urging African Americans to go to college by going to churches around...
When you stress out in your dreams too, that is not cool. I prefer to keep my worries when I am conscious. Sleep time is me time.

Just posted my job description this morning and I’ve received over 150 emails and resumes. Holy wow. Though its a slightly different title, I should have figured my job was at such a high demand!
Oh wow, yes, that is the reality. As someone who wants to be in a related field, sometimes, I wish I just listened to my parents and studied to be a nurse.
Hate to be emo yall, but I just miss the touch.

Saturday, I went to cover a step show and my article is now up with a really cool multimedia piece created by my friend Eugenia: http://xpress.sfsu.edu/archives/arts/012486.html
The photos are beautiful too. But anyway, this show was amazing - I’ve never been to one like it before. SO MUCH DANCING everywhere and I had a lot of fun and met so many nice people.
I would like a burrito.
I am craving it.
Give a little asian girl an irish car bomb and a mandarin bomb, and she’s pretty much fucked up. How I type coherent sentences I’ll never know. Celebratory.

Wooooo! What has been published? Go, you! Rock on, snog. God bless ya!
Hey thanks! This is quite a tumultuous event for me, dunno, never thought I’d see it. A couple of articles in my school’s paper - one about a hacking computer virus going around campus and the other one about my university’s lecturers not being asked back to teach...

Some journalism students at SF State produced this multimedia piece and I’m in awe over it. Really well done and put together quite nicely. The photos and use of sound… really great.
This'll get me in trouble.

Why are so many people convinced that the best way to go through life is to just ‘float on?’ Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for people taking it easy and enjoying the ride; but life is about ambition and getting what you want knowing that you deserved it. In philosophy, letting life just happen makes total sense. In practice, it does not.
When you let life happen, it essentially...

I hate being broke right now, waiting for my next paycheck with literally nothing in the bank and being too proud to ask my parents for any. I forget to eat in the morning and I can’t buy anything when I’m at school, so I have my little sandwich for the whole day and my head starts to hurt from being so hungry. Then I eat like a pig when I get home. Hate that. Now I want to throw...
